TRAINING TO BE A BRICKLAYER
ALLIED CRAFTWORKER
  • The Joint Apprentice and Training
    Committee accepts applications to become
an apprentice year round. Interested parties
must first complete an application available
through B.A.C Local 5 Union Hall.
  • Applicants then will be interviewed to
    proceed through selection procedures. All
applicants with acceptable scores will be put
on a pool of eligibles until notified to start
    training and work.
  • Once accepted into the program all tools
needed and training are furnished free of any
    charges, to the apprentice.
  • Apprentices progress through a (3) three
year program, with pay increases in (6) six
month increments as they become more
    efficient.
  • Apprenticeship is still the very best way to
learn a craft working with your hands to
    become a skilled journeyperson craftworker
and earn good wages and benefits for you
    and your family.
